Hey everyone! Today, I'm going to be reviewing the DDP-80 digital keyboard from Donner. As you can see, it is made of wood, which gives it such a nice aesthetic. I just LOVE the look of it - minimalistic and modern in style. This keyboard in particular does have 88 keys and is weighted with hammer action, making the feel of it very nice and quite similar to a real piano as well.
What I REALLY appreciate about the keys themselves is that they have a very matte feel, which is so different from some of the other digital keyboards I have. For those keyboards, the keys tend to be slippery, which means I often find my fingers sliding off the keys easily. However, I don't have this problem with the Donner DDP-80 piano at all.
Another plus for this keyboard is that it was extremely easy to assemble! I'm usually HORRIBLE at this sort of thing, but this was a piece of cake, and didn't take long at all. The keyboard also comes with the three pedals, which you can just plug into a jack at the back. This means that you won't have to buy an external pedal!
I know that sometimes a real piano can be quite pricey and not within everyone's budget, so I think that the Donner DDP-80 is a great alternative, especially if you are still learning the piano or just need something to practice on. Since it's digital, you can also plug it into an audio interface and record with it, which I myself have done numerous times for my song covers.
